The
Nugents
The Nugents have been planning private tours since 1989.
Their first trip, to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, West Indies,
was planned hand in hand with the Jamaican Tourist Board.
After the success of this trip, they added private self
drive tours to England and Ireland. They then turned
towards the exotic and planned their first tour of Morocco,
North Africa. An historical tour through Spain and Portugal
which followed the Medieval Pilgimage Route to Santiago
de Compostela and the Roman cities of Portugal came
next. Then, they went back to Africa for Safaris through
Kenya, with Tanzania added two years later. Their latest
tour took them to the Himalayan mountain kingdom of
Nepal. New officer Katherine Winder recently planned
and led her first tour to the North African and Middle
Eastern nations of Israel, Jordan, and Egypt.
DreamCatchers, Inc. is dedicated to the ideal, which
the Nugents have been pursuing since 1989: Every traveler's
excursion abroad should be the trip of his or her dreams.
By working closely with local agents, they are able
to give their travelers insights into the customs and
complexities of the cultures of the peoples of the host
nation, thereby enriching each traveler's adventure.
The
Officers
Susan Nugent - President
of DreamCatchers, Inc. completed her Bachelors degree
in English Literature and her Masters degree in Counseling
Psychology. This combination has made her accomplished
at the art of communication and the ability to understand
the needs of others. Her education and travel planning
experience have given her the skills to reach not only
her clients, but also to reach across the Oceans to
form close working relationships with professional agents
in other lands.
Thad E. Nugent - Vice
President of DreamCatchers, Inc. has been practicing
various aspects of International Law for over thirty
years. As a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers, (www.aaml.org),
Kansas Chapter, and a fellow of the International Academy
of Matrimonial Lawyers, (www.iaml.org),
U.S.A. Chapter, he has had the unique opportunity to
work with families and cultural systems across the globe.
In his work with children and families around the world,
he has developed a sensitivity for the needs of others
in diverse cultures.
Katherine Winder -
Vice President, Cultural Affairs of DreamCatchers, Inc.
earned her Bachelor's degree in social anthropology.
She taught English as a second language to refugees
from seven countries and has six years experience working
with hotel and resort corporations. With her knowledge
of cultures from all parts of the world and her experience
in tourism, she can facilitate understanding between
travelers and hosts in each desired destination.
